Where is the Lake Wylie Post office?

Well that is a question I asked myself when I moved to the Lake Wylie area.

When you Google Lake Wylie SC post office, you don't get any direct hits, it gives you directions for Fort Mill, Charlotte and Rock Hill post offices  

But if you Google the zip 29710 you see the post off ice locations for Clover SC 29710, but still  nothing that says Lake Wylie SC post of fice.

When you are new to an area and ask Google where is the Lake Wylie post office and come up with nothing, you start scratching you head and say, wow, Lake Wylie doesn't have a post office!?!?   

Then you find out that Clover SC and Lake Wylie SC share a zip code.  They both use 29710.  And indeed you will see addresses using Lake Wylie SC 29710 and Clover SC 29710  

So then I Goggled, why is Lake Wylie not called Clover? Lots of real estate sites and restaurants came up, but nothing that answered my question.  Wikipedia wasn't any help either, just explaining how Clover got it's name (cute story, more on that later).  

So why is Lake Wylie not Clover.  Well, in another blog I explain how Lake Wylie (the lake itself) got its name, and those who have lived here for years, just say, cause it IS Lake Wylie NOT Clover.

I am just left to say that the folks that live on the lake like the name and use it for their address, the post office allowes it and everyone is happy!

Now back to the original question, where is the main Post office in Lake Wylie?  Well it is in downtown Clover, of course!  913 Bethel Street, Clover SC    

Now there are plenty of places near by to handle your post off ice needs, and in reality there is a small mail drop with limited services a Lake Wylie at 221 Latitude Ln St 106 Lake Wylie SC 29710 but I have no clue why it doesn't come up on the main goggle search.   

At any rate there are great homes to be found in Lake Wylie!  Making Lake Wylie a great place to live!
