and beyond. I have been an avid re-user and re-cycler since I was a child. My mother introduced me to the art and science of thrift store shopping. I typically shop at Goodwill, Salvation Army, or Value Village. I usually shop for books and miscellaneous items that I can reuse and use.

My latest find were these two Christmas glasses that I found at a Goodwill in Snohomish County. They were 69 cents each and worth every penny. They remind me of my childhood. My mother had these same glasses and would serve drinks in them.

I feel fortunate that I found two of them:

From my family to yours... I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and happy holidays both Christmas and Hanukkah. For atheists... I hope you have a wonderful winter.

Lana: You and me both! My favorite stores (and those of many people in the area) are the Yellow Brick Road and SPCA thrift shops in Carmel. It's amazing what you can find there, even furniture. Very high end designer clothes. All cleaned and looking brand new.
