How God has Blessed one of my clients

I received a call a few months back from a family friend. Her husband was very involved with the community and had passed away from lung cancer several years ago. The time had come to sell her home. My wife said we should follow what the Bible says in James 1:27. So we agreed to do what we could to help keep her above water. We have been Blessed this year in the business so we could do this for her.

Her home went on the market at a price that would allow her to pay off the mortgage. We did have a few showings but in the end we had to drop the price to bare minimum to clear the mortgage. It still wasn't receiving many showings but we did receive an offer. We ended up coming to terms where she would not owe anything on her home. Then the inspection occurred and the buyers wanted $1000 to take care of some issues. The seller was really concerned on how to proceed. She had decided to accept the amount and had signed the amendment. Later that day the buyer's agent called me and said the buyers had dropped their demand and stated the reason was James 1:27. He also stated he was about to forward the signed amendment when his computer died. By the time he had recovered the computer, the buyers had sent the email dropping the demand.

So this of course makes a really great story of how God can Bless us as we follow His will but this story does not end there. She of course needed to buy a home so she could have a place to live. All along she had told herself that her home would sell when the home she could buy was available. Now we went out looking and the first round of townhomes were not what she was looking for to call home. The next trip out we found a townhome that  impressed her was the care and condition of the town home. It just felt right. Plus it had her 3 wishes, a fireplace, wood floors and a hot tub. So we wrote an offer. After a round of negotiations we had a deal. That is of course until the appraisal came back low... We told the sellers and they agreed to meet us half way, which was great but still stretched my client to her limits. She had to think about it over night. Later that same evening, I received a call from the listing agent. She said her clients would cover the entire difference again stating that the reason was from above.
