The holidays are officially here and the whirlwind of countless parties, binge shopping, and forgoing any semblance of dietary moderation is spinning us around in circles!
But somewhere in the midst of the maelstrom the banalities of normality must be addressed with the same vigor as any other time of the year.
The balance between work and life always seems to lean towards making a living. Keeping the wolves at bay takes the same amount of effort in January as it does in June!
The solution is simple. We need longer days in December. A 28 or 30 hours day would allow enough time to deal with both the holidays and work.
But alas, until that happens we’ll just have to deal with the dilemma as best we can.
No excuses, no regrets, and no do-overs. It is what it is!
