John and Ziggy

Here's a picture of John and Ziggy Ansah taken last year on the day after Thanksgiving. Ziggy was still playing college football at BYU. Now he starts for the Detroit Lions and he's doing great!

We enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions win on Thanksgiving this year, especially since we are huge Ziggy Ansah fans!

Ziggy had two sacks in the Detroit Lions' 40-10 win over the Green Bay Packers! (Sorry Packer fans.)

We know that Thanksgiving is centered on gratitude and family, but we also enjoy a good football game, too. We may live in Arizona, but we will always root for Detroit (unless they're playing our beloved Cardinals) because we are proud of Ziggy and his accomplishments. Go Lions! Go Ziggy!

More opinions than you want to hear about.

I wish the game had been more of a contest.  Packers obviously took Thanksgiving as a paid holiday.  This year the turkey wore green and gold;)  Congrats to the Lions.
