Lately I've been asked why I blog.

Simple question, right? First let me say that it's not out of boredom, nor is it to occupy my time and no - it doesn't even take time away from clients. In fact, much of what I write about has been inspired by or for clients.
When someone seeks out information on the internet, they generally don't stop with the first article they find. Many of the articles on the "web" are little more than blogs. If they weren't written, how dull would our online experience be?
Dare I mention that blog posts are viewed at consumer convenience? The answer you seek may be found at 3:00 a.m. and most assuredly I will be recharging at that hour to better take on the demands of the day.
My favorite reason to post blogs is to provide information to others. Some of the information may seem trivial and not worth reading. That said, many people still read it and it may have an impact on how they think about something in the future. My hope is to inspire positive actions in all we do.
My motto, tag-line, branding or whatever else you want to call "let's foresee the possibilities . . . and get results!" is more than a mind set. Always looking for a great outcome and searching out the good in situations perpetuates better results.
As a Realtor I'm determined to serve my clients and their best interests. That doesn't translate to agreeing to everything and it doesn't mean caving in. Standards of due diligence and quality representation require the highest level of care.
As a member of my community, these same standards naturally flow through. It is a disservice to volunteer or participate in any activity when your heart just isn't in it, so I'm careful with my time and how I use it.
Being somewhat of an introverted personality, sharing through blog posts can be a highly effective way to state my thoughts. Fear not, every day I get out more and more to do this face-to-face.
Please appreciate the blogs I post and don't be terribly disappointed if I miss a day or two, after all - it is for you.
As always, let's foresee the possibilities . . . and get results!
