Hunters and land owners are very much responsible for the great return of much our wildlife
I always enjoy your photos Bob... The deers remind me of the many hours I spent hunting with my Dad in Maine... I would never shot one which use to get him upset but I loved going with him and chasing them away...
That is beautiful country, something that I never take for granted. Always great to read about the post that are about the forestland in you part of the country.
Bob, just like the others, I really enjoy your photography....you are gifted indeed!
Those look like some good trees for harvest. The deer and turkey are abundant in my part of the country and I heard guns going off this morning. Since I live in the city limits, I am sure the game warden was working too.
Bob,
Clearly, Central Sands of Portage County Wisconsin is very DEAR (DEER) to you! I am a lover of deer and Portage County in Wisconsin is a paradise where man and wildlife can live harmoniously.
Hi Bob, I am enjoying going through some of your early blog posts and reposts and getting ready to start doing some posts myself soon.
Wonderful photos, Bob. Even with snow on the ground, there's still foraging material peeking through. The trees provide protection for the animals during the winter. Portage County in Wisconsin looks so idyllic for those of us who like forests.
