Post a flower picture to lift spirits

 

It is Saturday night as I write this blog. Dolores and I have enjoyed a very busy day that included a lot of photowalking. However, that is information for future blogs.

For my last post of this week I will share a photograph of a dahlia in our Kentlands home garden. It is difficult to have negative thoughts when photographing beautiful flowers.  If you ever feel a little depressed, photograph a flower and you will gain a fresh perspective. Share your flower picture with a friend to raise his or her spirits.

Enjoy the weekend as we continue to celebrate the season of Thanksgiving.

Your flower photos always cheer me up....even on days when I'm already very happy.  

I take hundreds of pictures every week and have yet to have any flower photographs that are as nice as yours. 

Do you carry a tripod around?

Hi Roy, Your collection is so amazing. And I think your love of flowers is why your photos always come out so beautifully. I think that being living things made of the same energy that we are, they know he difference between adoration and someone just taking photos.

Roy, no tripod or extra equipment?  You are obviously a very talented photographer with a great ability to capture the perfect angles and lighting.  You also seem to know where to go to find healthy beautiful flowers that come across as being flawless.

Debbie: I stopped posting photographs with comments because of complaints to ActiveRain. However, I never did receive any complaints.

Sondra: Follow the light for the best photographs. The morning light or naturally lighted shade is best for flower photographs.

Wayne: This is my last month as an active real estate broker. I am not sure what I will do about blogging.
