Learn to HoopDance- This low impact exercise is something everyone can enjoy!  Join Hoopnotica certified instructor Shelly McBurnett for an hour of fun.  It reduces stress, improves mood and allows for creative self expression.  Click here to view Tim Ezell from Fox 2 try out HoopDance!

There will be a free HoopDance Seminar on Tuesday, December 17th from 6:30-7:30pm.  Reserve your spot today by calling 963-8689.  All ages are welcome.

If you decide you like this class, they will be offering weekly classes beginning 1/7-2/11 from 6:30-7:30pm.  Cost R $36; NR $45

I am with Eva!  I am not a  runner!!!  I like yoga and other kinds of classes most of my exercise is Volleyball though!

Hi Shanna ... hoop dancing has to be great for the waist and hips.  I will have to check to see if it is offered here in the Carolinas.  Nice localism post.

5-6 each about 3-4 minutes and then slow it down with a Waltz or two.

Does this involve a hula hoop?

I am not sure if it has hola hoops or not- but I bet it will be interesting for sure! I am always looking for fun and new exercises!

Hi Shanna, I have heard of hoop skirts, playing a game of hoops, and hula hoops, but never heard of hoopdancing.  It sounds fascinting. It seems like I saw something like that at the circus. You don't set them on fire do you?

Lol Larry-  no I am not skilled enough to hula hoop with fire!  I have some friends that do though!  Maybe they should teach the class!
