My elevator speech into 2014 and beyond

Reblogger
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Properties

In case you missed Larry Sullivan's post today, it is a must read!  I was encouraged to dream big, even the impossible dream.  He has passion, a big heart, and is determined to be the best he can, as we all should all do.

Without passion, a big heart, staying active doing the things we like to do, there is little hope for us.   Being happy is a choice!

My elevator speech into 2014 and beyond

Do your goals embarrass you?

Are you outrageous and act with passion?

Are you without limits and accept no excuses?

My big, hairy, audacious goal is to achieve LEVITATION

O shock, horror - did he say LEVITATION?

G-Day. I'm Larry O'Sullivan and I am a POSSIBILITY THINKER.

My goal sees me rise from SITTING TO STANDING HEIGHT.

Ten years of sitting, testing appliances designed by people

seeking the generic has led to frustration that has bloomed into

PASSION. I have skin in the game, and it's GAME ON.

When I dream, I run. I know where my feet are

and I feel the surface I run on. When I'm tired, my feet hurt ~

just like yours. (But I have none).

You can be a scoffer, a detractor, a naysayer, a spoiler -

I have no time for you, nor any argument to please you.

A verbal encounter would surely waste precious time.

It is my dream, my goal, not yours to minimize or ridicule.

Better you join me and let your understanding grow

Be a joint venturer, a pioneer, a visionary,

in an amazing twenty first century.

If you buy the idea of solving future challenges with yesterday's

thinking, then you need also to buy a mindset change.

It is in you. Buy it now.

I'm Larry O'Sullivan. I am a POSSIBILITY THINKER.

And I will achieve LEVITATION.

Conrad, yes he has been in a wheel chair as long as I have known.  He doesn't let anything stop him from doing his business and whatever else he needs to do.  A few years ago he called me to chat but he never mentioned he was in a wheel chair, I just knew.

Clint, Larry does incredible things, and this should be an encouragement to always do our best.

What an inspiring read.  If this doesn't jolt one out of complacency nothing will.
