I recently pondered this dilemma myself. I saw a stream of them walking from an outside wall to my dishwasher. I sprayed them and their path with Raid. Although I never could find out the exact location where they were coming in, after spraying a few times they disappeared.
A few days later, however; I saw them walking in another part of my kitchen. These were the same little tiny black ants. I would get rid of the ones I saw but then would see more the next time I entered the kitchen. I was so tired of seeing ants!

She tried it and it worked like a charm. She gave me the name, I purchased it and voila, the ants are gone.

It is pretty disgusting while they are congregating on the cardboard, but when most were gone the next day I threw away all the cardboard that was left out and cleaned the counters.
I have not seen an ant since and that was 4 days ago. I still have a large amount of Terro left, if I ever need it again, but I think it will be awhile before I see any more ants.
