Taking the kids to see Santa is a family tradition for many. For some children, however, letting Santa know what they are dreaming of getting for Christmas is difficult.
Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, VA has established a special day for children who are deaf or have hearing loss. Today from 10 am to 9:30 pm, a Signing Santa and Mrs. Claus will welcome children who are deaf and hard of hearing and be able to communicate with them in American Sign Language.
While there, the whole family can enjoy the Ice Palace 2013 Presented by Microsoft Windows. This winter wonderland is a spectacular holiday Ice Palace with larger-than-life snow globes, a place to leave an icy hand-print, and a chilly Ice Throne. It is a perfect way for Children of all ages to get in the holiday spirit. The Ice Palace, and a non-signing Santa, are at Fair Oaks from now through December 24.
