Looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit? Winter Park hosts some of Central Florida's greatest Christmas events every year. From tree lightings and santa sightings to holiday parades, there's something fun to do for every age!
Leu Holiday House
December 1 – January 5, 10am-3pm
Leu House Museum, Leu Gardens
Each room in the historic estate will have holiday decorations based upon traditional Christmas songs. Thirty minute tours are held every hour and half-hour. Students and faculty from the Interior Design program at Seminole State College and volunteers from Ron’s Miniature Shop & Museum transformed the Leu House Museum into a holiday extravaganza. $10 for adults, $3 for children in grades K-12 includes garden admission.
Christmas in the Park
Thursday, Dec. 5, 6:15-8:15pm
Central Park, Park Avenue, Winter Park
The Morse Museum of American Art will light Central Park with century-old Tiffany windows from its renowned collection at the 35th annual Christmas in the Park. The 150-voice Bach Festival Choir performs seasonal favorites. Free admission.
“The Gift” Christmas Festival and Musical Celebration
Friday, Dec. 6, 4-10pm
Lake Eola, Downtown Orlando
“The Gift” is a musical stage production featuring massed choirs performing familiar Christmas music. Lake Eola transforms into a beautiful holiday scene with colorful lights surrounding the area. Free admission.
Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Friday, Dec. 6, 5pm
Central Park, Park Avenue, Winter Park
There will be performances by local children's choirs, refreshments, children's activities and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Free admission.
18th Annual Tuba Christmas Orlando
Saturday, Dec. 14, 1pm
Central Park, Park Avenue, Winter Park
Tuba and euphonium players of all ages are invited to participate. Registration begins at 9am with rehearsal from 10-11:30am. Registration fee is $12. Required book is $18 and will be for sale at the event. Spectator admission is free.
Christmas Eve Open House
Tuesday, Dec. 24, 9:30am-4pm
Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, Park Ave, Winter Park
The public is invited for free tours of Louis Comfort Tiffany's 1893 chapel. During the holiday season, the museum features the 1902 Tiffany window "Christmas Eve". The Raintree Chamber Players will provide live music from 1-4pm. Free admission.
