Nashville Communities Offer Luxury, Privacy, and Fun

belle meade mansionGenerally speaking, Nashville has a delightfully low cost of living. This is one of the many reasons so many businesses are moving to the area. Still, in an entertainment town, one can expect pockets of pricey homes to be located throughout the area, and Music City is no exception. If you’re looking for luxury, elegance, modern conveniences, and a touch of history and charm, these are the neighborhoods to scope out first.

Belle Meade

Located in MLS area 2, Belle Meade is just minutes from downtown. The area sprang up around the Belle Meade Plantation, which is where you’ll receive your first bit of genteel Nashville charm. Only 1200 or so homes are considered Belle Meade residences. Some are old family estates while others are brand new mansions with the latest modern conveniences. Even the smaller homes bring a touch of history and class to the area.

This neighborhood is home to the highest per capita income in the state and one of the highest in the nation. Residents love the Warner Parks that surround the neighborhood and offer plenty of green space for exercise. This tiny piece of Nashville also has its own police force, mayor, and independent city status.

Franklin

If living too close to downtown turns you off, Franklin also boasts some of the most expensive homes in the state. In fact, Williamson County is the 15th wealthiest county in the country. You’ll have your pick of homes lining the quaint streets of downtown Franklin, or you can select one of the rolling horse farms located on the outskirts. Many new homes have also been built in the area, and all offer the modern conveniences many younger homebuyers seek today. One thing Franklin never lacks is history and charm. Making the area even more attractive are the many top-notch schools, both public and private.

When choosing a home in Middle Tennessee, these neighborhoods can offer you luxury beyond your wildest dreams, but also security, education, fine shopping and dining, and space for your family to flourish.
