There's snow in St. Petersburg today despite a temperature of 84°. Sixty-five tons of snow were brought in for the annual holiday Snowfest celebration. The morning Christmas parade started the festivities. There are wonderful activities in North Straub Park which include a toboggan slide, climbing wall, art tent, moonwalk, reindeer races, giant slide, ice skating and a Kiddyland area specifically designed for preschoolers. What a nice opportunity for the Florida children to meet Santa and also experience snow in their own city.
