There are Things That Catch Your Eye

“Certain Things catch your eye, but pursue only

those that capture the heart.”

Ancient Indian Proverb

As I see it . . . . . . .

There are things that catch your eye

The things that catch you eye have a tendency to pass through your life without having a lasting impact.

Why you ask?  Because they are not rooted in a deep need . . . . it’s more of a passing fancy or an impulse.

The things in your life with the most meaning are the things that . . . . are captured by you heart.

For example . . . .

For the person that comes into the real estate because it catches their eye . . . . Are not committed to the real estate profession . . . . and very likely to drop out of the business and move on and into another field.

Now for the person that comes into real estate professional because it captured their heart. They become the long term successful real estate professional and they are the one’s that love the profession.

What the difference between the two groups of people.

For the person that real estate caught their eye . . . . is not truly committed to the profession . . . . and as they encounter obstacle will start to look for other job choices.

For those who real estate captured their heart . . . .  will fight their way through the obstacles because there committed to their career.

There are thing that catch your eye . . . . but is the things that capture your heart that keeps you going.

It sure is worth the thought process to decide if it's only a temporary infatuation... caught our eye, or we are truly enamored with something... catching our heart.
