Enjoying the vagaries of weather in Sandy UT

winter warmth

If I poke my nose outside, I can experience 20F (feels like 4F) with some snow, and it's around midnight. So why would I venture out?

I can wait until tomorrow~ promised 16F high, 2F low (with a cheery feels like 4F - -2F). seems in Sandy UT we have to wait at least two days to venture above freezing.

All brisk stuff.

A winter snow storm advisory for Sandy UT until 6pm tomorrow. Sounds of cracking ice in driveways and on footpaths. Slips and slides for the unwary.

A look at the weather map suggests indoor activities for most of the country. Hey! Florida has not signed up for winter ~ again. Some other places that boast of being milder climes, are getting a lesson in sharing  of our normal winter weather.

Stay warm - Stay safe.

With hats, coats and gloves we are ready for anything in Sandy UT

Good morning Larry. Well I guess you are used to your US winters by now. I moved north and enjoy the cold but with every storm the challenges come too. Stay safe.

Wayne - Happy day for you. I experienced a few rays of sunshine e few minutes ago but it did not change the temperature.

Sheila - somehow a foot of snow appeared overnight. My power chair struggled a bit in the 150 yards to church in sometimes churned snow. Very invigorating, if challenging.

Hannah - good practice for anything winter can throw at you. Seems like we are at mercy of arctic blasts. Really tested in staying warm outdoors yesterday.
