Even if You Owned a Home in the Past - You May Qualify as a 1st Time Home Buyer in New Jersey!

Did you know you may be considered a first time home buyer even if you previously owned a home? The State of New Jersey has great 1st Time Home Buyer programs and YOU may qualify!  If you have not owned a home for more than 3 years or have experienced a recent change in marital status... you are on your way to qualifying for New Jersey's 1st Time Home Buyer program.  In addition, you may also qualify for a grant from the State of New Jersey to assist with your downpayment and closing costs.

Welcome to ActiveRain, Linda! Great work on knowing the details of the NJ homebuyer program. Exceptions that aren't readily apparent from the title of the program open up the opportunity to an additional pool of buyers.
