Homes still selling quickly in the Anchor Bay school district

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Richard Michaels & Associates LLC 372834

Chesterfield Township is split into two school districts and right now the Anchor Bay School district seems to be selling a little faster then Lanse Cruise School district. Although keep in mind all of Chesterfield is doing very well.  With the Holidays in full swing many home owners are skeptical about putting their home on the market.  Many people have told me that they have heard they should wait to put the home on the market until the spring.  Well, here are a few things to consider before "waiting" to market your home.

If you put your home on the market now when the inventory is down, you have a better chance of selling it quickly and for more money.  Less inventory=more buyers viewing YOUR home.

I'm not sure about you, but if I'm out in the ice and snow looking at homes chances are I'm pretty serious about buying a home.  Lets face it a warm blanket does sound better  Serious buyers=Serious offers

Homes when all decorated up tend to show better.  What better time to market your home than when it looks its best....The better it shows=the higher the offers

People are more emotional during the Holidays and tend to pay closer to asking prices.

If you need to sell your home before you can purchase your next home then it makes sense to get your sold now while inventory is low and prices are higher and then puchase in the spring when inventory is up and prices are lower.
