Sweetness from a Buyer who didn't Buy. Really?

By
Real Estate Agent with ExecuHome Realty 636336 (since 1991)

If you've been in the business more than a couple weeks, you've had a buyer who never bought. Even after many hours of research, showing, and making a reasonable offer.

Sometimes, things just don't work out.

In this particular case, our buyer decided to purchase their vacation home in another city. They were kind enough to send us a short email yesterday with the decision. Were we disappointed? You bet - this was a $900k purchase. But we appreciated the fact that they let us know. Nice.

Today, in the midst of falling snow, we are greeted with Orchids. From the buyer who didn't buy. Sending their thanks and appreciation for the work we had done. Even though we didn't make it to the settlement table.

Now THAT is special. And unique. And appreciated. Those are some 1st Class People.

We share their gift with you, and hope we all have more clients like them.

Thank You from the Buyer who didn't buy

A lovely thank you note.

Curt, this was a wonderful and thoughful gesture by these buyers.   It is difficult to spend time, gas and energy on buyers who do not end up at the closing table, but happens on occasion.
