Well, it is time to break out the NON-Breakable tree ornaments.

The grandkids want to help decorate the tree this year.

Hey, who cares what it will look like, but smiles we will get will be pretty enough for me.

This is the season for fun and laughter, what better way than to have the little ones around,.

Cute graphic.  But yes, the fun with family and creating the memories is what matters most.

William, when my kids were little we let them decorate and then we would move things around after they went to bed so the entire tree would have coverage.

It ads so much more personality to the tree when the kids decorate it in their own unique ways, even if the decorations are all in each kids favorite part of the tree.

When the little ones want to help, I get out the plastic ornaments.

Another fun option is to head to Michael's crafts and buy plain wooden ornaments. I stock up on washable Crayola markers and my grandkids use those to decorate the ornaments. They look grand on the tree, aren't breakable, and we date them and put their names on the back - giving us all special memories as the years go by. :)  Happy New Year!
