Tell Us What's In Store for 2014

Earlier this year we announced a partnership with Inman News and InmanNext to have our members content distributed on Inman.com. Since that announcement we've had about two posts a week showing up on Inman.com and a number of members have gained additional readership for their content. We couldn't be happier for them.

So When the team at InmanNext came to us and asked if our members would be interested in sharing what they see on the horizon for 2014, we certainly wanted to give you all the chance to weigh in.

Between now and Monday, December 23rd we would love to have you write about what you think 2014 will bring in terms of new technology, or what new strategies you will be employing in the new year to have a more successful business.

We'd love if your blog posts had a 'technology' slant on them somehow. Since the focus of InmanNext is the technology side of our business, the posts that have the best chance of landing on Inman.com will have something to do with technology. We'll go through and pick out a few of the submissions from our members and send them to the team at Inman for consideration.

For the rest of the year, InmanNext will be showcasing what real estate professionals think will be the trends and technology that shape 2014. So let's give them some of your great insight and ideas.

I know I don't need to bribe you to share some of your predictions but we'll do 800 points for every entry (one award per person) and then if your post gets selected to appear on Inman.com we'll give you an additional 1200 points. (Wait, was that a bribe? No! It was a reward! Big difference!). And let's throw in a few ActiveRain T-shirts randomly. 5 people will be sent an AR T-shirt for participating. Ready. Set. Go.....

(oh yeah, to participate, write your post, then leave a link to your post in the comment section of this post)

We do a slew of video applications to real estate blog posts and that technical series should be a regular, not once a year what do you think. The buyers want video, properties deserve that approach but starts with higher up the food chain showcasing and regular insertions for the implementation.  Have already posted boatloads of them on AR that got missed so blogging those on other video channels. So many great blog posts of new and varied missed when the same 20 folks get quickly picked and thrown up...

This is exciting! I have created my predictions for technology for 2014, using the failure of Agent Match as a catalist: HOW WILL AGENTS BETTER SERVE THEIR BUYERS AND SELLERS IN 2014?

It would be so nice to have fewer distressed sales & more normal transactions.

Not to be impatient but I was wondering if the points had been awarded for this one yet? or if mine was missed via some sort of error?

thanks for the update!
