Chisago County Minnesota, Close to the Cities and a great place forWhitetail Deer and Turkeys Too

I am very familiar with this area, having grown up just across the river in Polk County Wisconsin.

At first glance you may think of Chisago County as being rather urban with the Twin Cities just down the road a bit, but it is also a very nice place with ample forested wild places.

Chisago County is home to over 65 thousand acres of forest land, most of which is private land.

Deer and Turkeys find this part of Minnesota to be a great place to live with plentiful Red and white oak acorns. The county hosts 42 thousand acres of Oak forests and Oak is the number one forest type in the county.

If you already own some forestland and would like to learn more about how to improve this land, make more money on your next timber sale, or if you would like an appraisal of the forest on your pending purchase, give me a call, our Foresters and Wildlife Specialists can help.

Bob, nicely done.

Chisago county is sorta city life in the south and rural to the north.

Bob, nice shout out for William and I have to say, I am learning a lot from you.  I never thought that a Forester would be the person to go to for forest valuations.  Makes sense to me!  Thanks!

Thanks Bill, you do live in an area with some great hunting land, and a fair amount of competition for this land.

Thanks so much for stopping by Silvia and Debbie, and yes we do quite a few valuations of timber and forests, not sure if you can properly put a value on it without a Forester.

Yes Bill is a guy well deserving of a shout out, and anyone looking for hunting land in his neck of the woods would be wise to look him up.

We can look forward to seeing Bill featured in at least two more county forest and wildlife status reports in the very near future.
