TheKaty Prairie Conservancy ( KPC) is hosting on Friday December 20, 2013 a special evening program out in the prairie in the greater Katy area. Participants will search for prairie night predators such as the owls and coyotes. How cool is that. I have posted another blog about this special program but I believe there is a lot of interest in the local area to attend one of these wonderful sessions. Sorry kids but this program is meant for adults.
The cost is $50 per person and includes a light dinner. The night will start with a short talk followed by dinner and then Master naturalist and Bird Guide Glenn Olsen will take the whole group out in the prairie in search of predators. The group will be looking to find barn owls, great horned owls, screech owls, short eared owls and hopefully some coyotes. Coyotes usually travel in packs from what I understand.
If you want additional data or information about this wonderful conservancy group call 713-523-6135. Space as always is very limited and registering right away is probably necessary. Registering is necessary.

I think this sounds really cool thing to do and would be a lot of fun plus educational to attend.
