I like to consider myself a trendsetter at times. I love pulling the trigger on things and taking a leap of faith. My most recent leap of faith is with Yelp.
Yelp has advertising opportunities where your ad for your Yelp business page shows up when people search for real estate agents in your area. It also shows up on your competitors page. The downside is that the ads are very expensive in my eyes, at this point.
My thought and hope is that since they are more targeted than your average bus bench or just sold postcard, the people that are clicking on it are more relevant. In other words, people are actually seeing your ad when they search for something real estate related. I'm assuming it's safe to say, that it can't get much more targeted than that.
