Los Angeles 411: Rockin' Kids, Burbank

Granted, cold days in California are generally the envy of most states during the Winter months, but sometimes even they can make a trip to the park a bit uncomfortable for little ones. If caregivers in the Los Angeles area are looking for a safe, clean and exciting place to take young children when playing indoors is preferred, then check out Rockin' Kids in Burbank.

Rockin' KidsUpon a visit to Rockin' Kids, a lively and colorful environment awaits. Designed to encourage interaction with their peers as well as to develop their own motor and other learning skills, this fine establishment is as educational for preschoolers as it is fun. The set up of the play structures and equipment invite children to fully engage their imaginations and stretch their creativity fostering important intellectual and social-emotional development during the most impressionable phase of a child's life.

And while the children are loving learning, caretakers can enjoy participating in the fun or sit back and relax a little, maybe even peruse your computer with the free WIFI. As drop-offs aren't allowed, you will still be responsible for supervising the little ones you bring, but sometimes disengaging a little from the intensity of play in a home setting and introducing a new area for children to explore is just what caregivers need to rejuvenate.

Rockin' KidsAs a ticket, frequent user pass or monthly pass is good for all-day re-entry, feel free to come and go as you please. Perhaps you want to make sure the children in your care keep their regular nap schedules or you would like to treat them to lunch out, at Rockin' Kids we offer ultimate flexibility. Bringing food to Rockin' Kids is welcome, but just know that all snacks and meals must be eaten in designated areas to keep the play area in pristine shape; a modest assortment of snacks and drinks are also available for purchase. Rockin' Kids also accommodates parties and special events with advance notice.

The open play schedule at Rockin' Kids is Mon/Wed/Fri 10am to 8pm; Tues/Thurs from 10am to 7pm; and Saturdays 10am to 7pm. Please note: the open play times are subject to change depending on the private event schedules, so you'll probably want to call ahead to make sure the visiting hours you had in mind are still available. The entrance fee for each child is $9; $40 for a frequent visitor pass and $50 per monthly pass (caregivers are FREE). Rockin' Kids is located at 201 E. Magnolia Blvd. #306, Burbank, CA 91502. Hi Ralph - what a great concept - I wonder if Rockin' Kids is a franchise -- it certainly looks like a concept that could be viable in many different locations.

Very cool place Ralph. Even here in Florida we have some days that are meant to be enjoyed indoors.

I love the fact that they allow food to be brought in.  It sounds like a great concept and fun place for the kids and parents.

I know some young ones who would adore this place. I'm sure it's very popular and wish we had one close by...
