Yep, I am shopping local this year. No lines to pay, no parking lot hassles and no major crowds.
The Krab Kettle has their own boat and bring their own Dungenous Crab and other kinds of fish in through out the year. In the summer I buy Halibut right of their boat! It doesn't get any fresher than that!
Back to shopping, I am giving 7.5 ounce cans of Tuna for gifts. That would be triple the average size of tuna in the stores. These will sell in the neighbor hood of $6 per can and they have several flavors. No salt is my favorite and occasionally I change it up with peppercorn Tuna.
I will be sneaking a fresh Crab cocktail for myself as the season just opened. If you are on my list, then I guess you know what you are getting.
