Last evening I got a call from a very nice agents who refers me clients a few times a year. He had a referral for me. We talked about the clients, their time schedule, what they were looking for, etc. I got their phone number and was to call them in a few hours.
5 minutes later he called and said they only wanted him to help them and he is 200 miles away, or his wife had a friend from 20 years ago who has a real estate license and lives in my area. There you go - a 5 minute referral. One minute I was set to go and the next minute it is gone. Oh well, on to the next one. It is their loss to not even meet with me. I know the area. I have sold over 2500 homes. I specialize in clients moving here for retirement. I even connect them with others to have immediate nice friends.
