HOME for the HOLIDAYS....why not List your dressed up home for sale?

Real Estate Agent with www.MyDutchessRealtor.com

Buyers might even pay more for a dressy home, who knows?

Many homeowners do not want to have people in their homes during the holidays, I understand. But think about it....it's the perfect time to showcase your home....!

An opportunity to really dress up your house for sale!

True Marketers know whatever you can do to increase your homes' value, do it! If it's curb appeal, a fresh coat of paint or holiday decorations, why wait for spring? When you can dress it in gilt?

Think about the "Bright Shiny" object syndrome we all suffer from on a daily basis...it's hard to keep focused when we get so distracted by beauty.  This is especially true during the Holidays; how much better will your home appeal to others

Imagine the staging; the fireplace lit, candles glowing, Holiday music playing, fresh holly & baked cookies on the stove, this can't be beat!

The nostalgia of the season alone can sell!

And Buyers are out there...!  They may be holding onto their pennies this year, instead of mall shopping, they scanning the internet for that newest listing, to see if they can get it first...!

Sadly not alot of homes are even

listed right now!

Now, even if you "sell" your home right away, you can set the closing date w/your buyer, if you can't close until April, they might wait...!  Normally, it can take up to 2 months for a closing from the point of showing the home to closing day, with all the little inbetween steps, home inspection, negotiations, attorneys & contracts, and let's not forget getting the final documents for the loan.

Keep in mind, your home doesn't have to be all decked out with boughs of Holly,

a few minor steps can create the feeling of the Holiday Season!

Many Seller's don't think Buyers are out there during the winter season....the truth is the opposite.

We have buyers waiting for new homes to come on the market  every day, especially now...

The Market has taken off like a Rocket, and we simply can't keep homes listed for long...I'm literally knocking on doors of homes to find that  dream home for buyers I have, who are shopping this Holiday season  so they can move here next year....I need homes to sell!

So please, folks, if you are even thinking of selling your home...give me a call!  I am desperate to match buyers with new homes.

I guarantee to Showcase your home to gain the most $$$ the market will bear! It has become a bit of a Seller's Market; We are usually receiving multiple bids on homes, bringing our Sellers the best offers to chose from...so why not list now?

From our homes to yours....

Happy Holidays to everyone!!!

Crystal: I agree with you. If you want to sell your house, now is a great time. People are in a cheery mood, sellers might have Christmas cookies they can leave with a "please take one" note in the kitchen for prospective buyers. It's all in the marketing.I love it!

Hella, your article based on the same subject truly inspired me! It's wonderful to hear what I've been stressing over; there simply aren't enough homes listed right now ! Happy Holidays to you & your family !
