Yes....a great way to end the year with a vacant home staging job directly from Active Rain.
A Realtor in Minneapolis found me on Active Rain and emailed me through Active Rain asking me to take a look at his listing. A 2 bedroom condo in Minneapolis that had been on the market 4 months with only 8 showings, no second showings and not a single offer.
I took a look at the online photos and it told me alot. It was vacant except for the dining room so it was underwhelming to get a prospective buyer to make an appointment to see it in person. But in addition the living room was the oddest shape I had ever seen.
An angled wall that was angled away from the fireplace, then a sharp turn into a kind of worthless corner, and oh......extremely small and narrow! I knew right away that there was no way someone could look at that empty space and figure out what to do with it. I was scratching my head and I am a highly trained professional! LOL

The dining room as also seen from the front door was fine but a little boring:
And the bedroom.....again fine but nothing to fire up a potential buyer to say "I want to see this one!":
So the Realtor and I met (an Active Rain Meet-up????) and I gave his client a bid. A budget was established and I staged the property this week.
Looking a little cozier??
A little more interesting?
A little more jazzy?
So thank you Active Rain for the business and here's hoping the showings pick up on this condo!! I will let you know!
