Speechless Sunday: Marietta National Cemetery at Christmas
I took this picture on a cold day in the historic Marietta National Cemetary (in Georgia) when I was the only one in the cemetery. The Marietta National Cemetery was established in 1866 to provide a suitable resting place for the nearly 10,000 Union dead from Sherman's Atlanta Campaign and includes veterans from many other wars. There was a peace and quiet that moved me.
