Finally the snow is melting and the tulips are coming out at least in Colorado anyway. Now it's time to consider what we should do about our yards. Any thoughts to bring about the best yard in the neigborhood? Usually about the first week in April I will "power rake" my lawn, not with a maching but by hand. This takes away all the dead grass and allows water to get into the roots with minimal run off. I get some good excercise and my lawn starts looking better. Afterwards if there is going to be moisture I'll add some Revive to the lawn then alternate every six weeks with a light fertilizer. Here's to a heathy and happy Spring!
Cheers!
