A Moving-on-for-the-New-Year Kind of Statement
I was cleaning out a section of the garage this week, and came across a book tucked into the corner. It was written by Tim Hansel, and entitled, Keep on Dancin’ -- Daily Readings to Celebrate Life.
I took a quick peak inside and decided it’d be a nice book to keep by my computer during the coming year.
So this morning I was reading, and I came across a very interesting passage. It was talking about GUILT.
How, most days we can feel guilty about any number of things -- overweight, overtired, underperformance – an ongoing battle. The author shared that he had come across a simple statement in HIS reading. “No one benefits from your guilt”.
Wow. Now isn’t that true?
We are who we are. We can accept that. We can perhaps change that, or not.
“No one benefits from your guilt.”
Talk about a Moving-on-for-the-New-Year kind of statement.
