Orchid
I used to grow orchids like this. I didn't grow this orchid or take this picture, but I wanted to share my friends' skills in those two areas with you all.
Orchids grow landing pads on which bees and other pollinators are encouraged to alight. As they pull back, after injesting the sweet, sticky pollen at the end of the runway (here, the pollen is yellow and red), the pointed hook hanging from above the opening breaks off and sticks in the pollinator's back. This is what is carried to another flower to pollinate it, and perpetuate the species.
