What motivates you to get out of bed each day?

Reblogger
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Properties

Wayne provides information regarding the current real estate market, and what motivates us to get out of bed each day.  It's good to see the market is rebounding in his, as it is in mine.  You provided great information regarding how to respond to each market.

He has a great backside to assist him, while he spends his time marketing and working with buyers and sellers.Real estate is rewarding, but I couldn't do it without my assistant who does the backside doing research and connecting all my links, so I can do the marketing.   Everyone  should have someone covering our backs.

Everyone thinks that listing and selling homes is easy, and that we make a lot of money for not much work!

I love being a Realtor, but it is not easy, and success comes to the ones who work hard everyday to genereate our business.  It is not a part time job,  and we must continue working hard, even in the slow times. Money can be made in those hard times, we just have to work harder!

As an Real Estate Agent what gets you out of bed everyday?  What keeps you motivated to continue to sell homes in this current bleak economic climate?  is it your love of helping people people purchase that first new home or is the thrill you get when the paperwork is all signed and the new home owners are handed the keys to their new home?  Maybe it is the thrill of negotiating a great deal for your client or being the one in your office that sells that one piece of property that no one else could.  Are you driven by the money and the accolades you receive when you are the #1 agent in your office month after month?  What ever your reason for getting out of bed how do you motivate yourself everyday to continue the good fight?

The money to be made is probably the strongest motivation for most real estate agents. However, few careers offer as much personal satisfaction.

For me, I really enjoy the "high" of putting deals together, closing, getting a new listing and having a new client call because they like my website!  All of that says success to me, that I am doing something right.

That's a good question. Some have families to support, which is a great motivator.  Others have done the up front work with a business plan and have defined goals.  Either way, we have to stay on top of it or pretty soon, there is no business!

The internet permits you to do business without getting out of bed. I can do $225000 from bed per day. However, I run out of steam after $750000

Winding yourself up to keep the wolf from your door and feed your little piggies. And passion for what you do in serving people.

Video is the best way to make more time, better use of time because works when you are bagging ZZZzzz's, getting a little shut eye. Round the clock, in any state, country, time or day or night. Show and tell is memorable, easy, like delivery fresh hot pizza. Buyers like and want that. Will get it from you or some other little red hen in your market that does not waste daylight. Gets out of bed and hops to it quick like a bunny as you, I used to tell the kids.

Catherene, right staying on top is how I market on my two websites.  The early bird gets the worm, so when we have a lead or a call, we have to respond quickly, or someone else will.

Jan, we have to have a game plan; otherwise we won't know where we're going.

Andrew, I love reading your posts, you have a colorful slant with your verabage painting unique picure - you should be an author!

David, the only way to stay on top is to where are going, otherwise we'll go somewhere.

Conrad, you do have to stay on point, and we will be successful.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
