Just two months ago!

 

Just two months ago, dahlias were in full bloom in Kentlands. One of the benefits of regular photowalks in the neighborhood is that we can recall those images long after they are gone.

We have chilly weather in Maryland and it is pleasant to thinks about beautiful flowers. I hope you don’t mind slipping back to the last season for a moment of reflection.

Roy, I know it hasn't been that long ago but I sure miss the flowers and the brown grass and bare trees just don't make the landscape look very good.

Yes Roy I am glad to step back a couple of months because it is cold out in Chicago. The older I get the more it bothers me. One day I will end up in a warm climate where we do not have to turn the clock back 2 months. Great photos.

Hi Roy, I love all your flower photos, so yes I am quite willing to go back a few months when these were so bountiful. I was noticing the gigantic blooms today on my Byron Rose Hibiscus. This is the Pink one that was so unique it was dedicated as the flower for women's breast cancer research. Roy, here is wishing you and all those you love a very Happy New Year!
