A 2014 Message for my Friends....
I heard this before. .
that the greatest gift that you can give to others. .
is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance.
as your happiness grows in direct proportion to your acceptance of others
as in inverse proportion to your own expectations from others.
Love and acceptance are two different emotions. .
Love is involuntary and free giving...
while acceptance becomes an intellectual choice filtered deeply and personally by each and everyone of us.
no one has the right to impose their own version of acceptance unto others
no one has the right to impose acceptance as a conditions before love
Love is not voluntary. .
Love just happens.
Acceptance is a personal choice. .and
Accepting their "acceptance" is respect for others
Just imagine if you’re child growing in this new social media pressurized world, trying to come to terms with his/her identity and attempting to be accepted by friends and family
Imagine the turmoil of choosing being oneself. .
vs.
being what they perceive society wants them to be. .
becoming an "emotional football" to get kick around the rest of their lives..
with no identity or voice. .
afraid of a loveless lonely life. .
as they comply and becomes emotional slaves. .forever. .
Pope Francis called in one of his conversations with reporters
when referring to homosexuality . .
"Who am I to judge?"
Acceptance is just that. .you are not judging.. .
but also it does not mean that the Pope will now be required to frequent areas where homosexuality is rampant . .
and forced to endure their life style.
He loves them because is in his heart
He accepts them because is their right
He does not judge them. .because is not his place
But he has the FREEDOM to choose or not choose to advocate their lifestyle.
free-will . .
We all have that liberty and freedom
to choose our own environment and not others for us. .
My message for 2014 to my family and friends is to adhere to these traits
of acceptance for others. .
loving with no conditions
as we paint and arrange an environment of peace, positivism, happiness and unconditional love from others.. .
