Day 1/Mile 1 Down...Only 364 to Go
OK. So, just about everybody makes a New Year's resolution or two (the most popular of which is to lose weight). However, by the end of January, those resolutions tend to go by the wayside. That's why I'm calling this a "lifestyle change/habit" instead of a "resolution". Like a good Cinnabon, I want it to stick!
Luckily, my friend Carra Riley created an event on Facebook called 365 Miles in 365 Days. Everyone is welcome. In fact, the bigger the group, the more people to support you in your efforts. Chinese philosopher Lao-tzu said that the journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step. Day 1/Mile 1 down...only 364 to go for me (by the way, that says 1.230 miles in the photo, not 1230 miles...I ain't THAT good!). Your journey can begin the first day you join (whether that be January 1st, January 2nd, February 10th or beyond. I don't yet know what the end will be exactly, but I do know that these shoes are gonna get one heck of a workout. Healthy New Year, everyone.
