Here we are at the beginning of another year, a time to reflect on the past year and make plans for the year to come. Most would agree that 2013 was a year of great improvement in the US Real Estate market and are hopeful that 2014 will be a year of continued improvement.

While reflecting upon the last year in Real Estate I ran across this video by Dave Liniger, Remax Co-Founder & Chairmain of the Board, where he discusses his "Top 10 Housing Predictions for 2013". I watched it when it first came out, but now that 2013 is drawing to a close, it was very intesting to listen to his predictions again.

I think Dave was right on the money with most of his predictions for 2013. What do you think & what are your predictions for the 2014 real estate market?

Cheryl, I think it would depend on where in the U.S. your market is. Denver had a great year, but sure slowed the last quarter.

Hello Joan, I personally experienced a much slower 4th quarter of 2013. My buyers seemed to put on the brakes when the government shutdown happened and were slow to return to the market. However, I'm having an amazing first quarter of 2014 and hope you are as well.
