Do I need to be pre-qualified or pre-approved for a new home mortgage?
With the current home market conditions, being just pre-qualified for a home loan doesn't put you in a strong negotiating position with today's sellers and with a knowledgeable listing agent. When I review multiple offers for my listing clients the first thing I look at after the offer price is how strong is this buyer.
