A number of inspectors are beginning to use infrared cameras for inspections. Are you using one? What are the pros and cons?

I am not currently using infrared although it seems to be where the industry is heading as far as inspections are concerned.
Pro: You can see a whole lot more than the naked eye
Con: Outrageously expensive
I figure it will be like the digital cameras were when they first came out. I am going to wait until the price comes down after a few years and then add it to my service.
