Going to the Super Bowl? Here's how to get there!

New Jersey is thrilled to host the Super Bowl this year, and lots of preparations are being made to ensure that fans will be able to get around easily.

Shuttle Bus:

Rather than driving to the Stadium, the Super Bowl XLVIII Fan Express Bus Program offers 9 different locations to catch a shuttle bus to the Stadium. Busses will depart the Stadium after the game with the last bus departing 1 hour after the presentation of the trophy.

NJ Locations to pick up the Shuttle:

  • The Plaza in Secaucus
  • The Newark Airport Marriot
  • The East Hanover Marriot

For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Parking Permits:

If you'd prefer to drive yourself and park at the Stadium, you must purchase your parking permit in advance. Parking permits will be shipped via FedEx beginning in mid-January. Tailgating will not be permitted in MetLife Stadium and IZOD Center parking areas for the Super Bowl.

Various rates are offered depending on the size of the vehicle you're using. For more information and to purchase your permit, click here.

O.K.  Now that I am fully prepared with parking and bussing alternatives, I'm left with just one question.

What are the ticket prices and availability??

Wayne and Jean, Congratulations on the honor of hosting the big game.  Unfortunately I will not be attending, but if I were a stop by your place would be at the top of my list.

Have a great day!

Lenn - Sorry we are not in the business of selling tickets.  I can't even fathom how ridiculously expensive the tickets will be.

Carole - The area is not that different.  There are a few new business that have cropped up and there is the "mall" on the site.  But we haven't been to the mall.

Bob - You're welcome to come see us anytime!  Would love to have you.

Profit from my two decades of experience

Wayne and Jean, this is such a huge event and the amount of revenue that's brought into the area is unbelievable. Hopefully our Seahawks will be there with half of Seattle.
