Happy New Year!    

I  hope your new year is beginning with good health, a fine job, loyal friends, and amazing family!

Last year saw a remarkable resurgence in the real estate market in the Fort Worth area. We went from a buyer's market in early January to a sizzling seller's market before summer. Multiple offers were rampant in some neighborhoods as buyers focused in on beautifully updated and presented homes. We even saw some multi-offer situations for fix it homes with great potential. Late summer and early fall brought additional serious buyers out. Many were able to find homes and get settled in time for the holidays. Others are arranging for moving trucks in the next few weeks.

While it's true great weather helps motivate home shopping, even ice storms couldn't slow down the pace. You should have seen me out there delivering option checks and earnest money for my buyer clients on one of those icy days in early December.

2013 saw me working with more clients than ever in my career. And for the first time ever, working with more buyers than sellers. Since my heart has always been on the listing side, it is a fun twist on my strengths. Working with buyers has made me an even better listing agent because I've seen the reactions-time and time again-as a buyer views a house for the first time.  Ask me how to make your home irresistible to buyers.
