Weber Screwdriving Systems Inc.’s new Mooresville home will be the former headquarters for Rusty Wallace Inc.
Weber announced last month that it would move to Iredell County from New York State, bringing 38 jobs to the local economy.
The company, which will spend $2.3 million for the relocation, makes bolt- and screw-driving equipment for automotive, medical and other industries.
Since 1958, Weber Screwdriving Systems, Inc. has provided assembly system solutions across highly demanding production environments.
Their capabilities range among from feeding and installing micro medical pins and screws to large bolts and heavy fasteners.
Weber is a privately held company currently located in Yorktown Heights, N.Y., which is north of New York City along the Hudson River.
Salaries will vary by job function, but the average annual payroll for the new job will be more than $3.1 million plus benefits. The Iredell County average salary is $41,964.
