Today I had a great opportunity to meet in person with a couple of my Active Rain/facebook buddies. Jon and I are in Tucson, Arizona to visit with our newest grandson, Jake, who is adorable by the way (photo to follow in a later post).
Jesse Clifton, in his cross-country travels has been in Tucson for a little while and Mike Jones lives in Tucson. Jon and I tore ourselves away from our grandson and his parents for an afternoon and we met Jesse and Mike for lunch at Cafe Posa Cosa in Downtown Tucson.
We had a great meal and enjoyed ourselves so much that lunch stretched into a few hours together. Jesse and Mike are a lot of fun and Jon and I had a great time - hoping to find a way to get together again some time, maybe in California.
Lynn Friedman and I had one of those 'impromptu' Meet Ups some time ago. It was lots of fun hanging out with Bruce Hicks from Hawaii when he and his wife were coming through Atlanta a little over a year ago. Fun stuff.
Hi Jordon - You're right. Usually I grab a meetup when one of the AR or fb friends comes to the Sacramento area, but this time I met with an Arizona resident and an Alaska resident in Tucson. Fun, fun fun!
I am ready for another meet up too. We had a very small meet up with just three people but we spent quite a few hours and really got to know each other. I hope this year is going great for you!
