As this industry evolves, there is only one thing that matters as Real Estate Professionals and that is proving to our clients that we are a Valuable Asset to their Real Estate Transaction ! What is it that YOU bring to the table that no one else can provide including the internet....the answer is......another REAL PERSON to help them through the process. So your job is to "BE THERE" for the client when the client feels they need YOU ! So many Realtors today only want to work Monday through Friday 8-5...PERIOD ! That would be great in an "Ideal World" but those hours are already taken by your Banker and you know how convienient they are !

I can't speak for others but in the vacation home business we always work Saturday & Sunday with Christmas and Easter off anything else is a work day when you have an appointment you work, when it's nice out and you would rather be :skiing, biking,golfing Etc.. you work it easy to schedule your day it's a work day today and everyday

Steve, I can't imagine that too many Realtors could get away with working Bankers hours! (at least not for too long) But, I am sure there are some that do, but I bet there are not in the top 5% . I don't think consumers would tolerate that. Our consumers are getting very well educated and market savvy. They would just go find some one that will work at their convenience.
