This picture was contributed to this blog by Roger Dobbins. He says that this is a shot of men's Sunday School Class at the Methodist Church in Searcy. They appear to be in front of the First United Methodist Church on Main Street, one of the most historic structures in Searcy and White County.
Perhaps some of you can name a few of them. Roger did not give a date for the picture but it looks as if they did some preparation for the picture with places for seating. I almost wonder if the photographer told them how to pose. It was a large class if they were all in one class.
They were all dressed to the hilt. Wonder if the guys on the front row felt embarrassed when their bare legs showed above the socks? Thanks, Roger Dobbins.
