The New Year Has Begun.

The new year has begun.

I like the renewed feeling after the first of the year.  Everything feels fresh, I begin with a new sense of adventure and a new attitude.

My son will be back in school from the two weeks off. While I will miss his smiling face and wanting to play with his new stuff from Christmas, him being away from the house for a while will allow me to get back to work full time and get the house clened up from the hustle and bustle of Christmas and New Years. It would probably make sense to have he and my husband help me take all of the decorations down and put them away.   However, I like to do this on my own - my way!  (So much for the new attitude about this - huh!)

I can't wait to stretch my new sense of adventure with some decorating ideas for the house since it will seem a little plain with the decorations gone. I guess a little attitude comes along with the new decorating ideas too.  Today everything is purchased and tomorrow I take action for the decorating!

Yes, I have scheduled the day out from work to accomplish this goal. 

My work has taken a sense of adventure too, as I am working with some new clients.  I have to say I really enjoy spending time with them and helping them find a new home. Also, I am involved with the Young Professionals Network and our meetings begin this week.  I know this will be an adventure.

I am just excited for what this year has in store - bring it on!
