Falcon 9 Rocket Launch on the Space Coast – Monday, 1-6-14
SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on Monday, January 6, 2014 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The original launch date was last Friday, January 3, 2014 but it was reset to Monday, January 6th.
The launch window opens at 5:06 p.m. and ends at 7:08 p.m., If the launch is scrubbed due to wind or weather conditions, the next attempt will be on Tuesday. This will be the second commercial launch by SpaceX.
The launch can be viewed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex or from the Apollo/Saturn V Center, which is the closest public viewing area at the Visitor Complex. The cost is $20 in addition to the Visitor Center admission.
