What will 2014 bring you?
Shall I rephrase that to read "What will you bring to 2014"?
To borrow a quote from someone, "If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got".
Looking back can show you what you always did. If you continue with that action, you can expect to get what you always got.
Another quote comes to mind, "We need to accentuate the positive" if we want to do better.
This time of year I'm looking at my income and my outgo. Estimate taxes are due Jan 15th so I need to be fairly accurate with what I'm sending to "Uncle". This is also an excellent tool for showing me where I've been and where I want to go financially speaking.
When I added up my expenses, I was surprised at the total spent. Advertising, MLS dues, telephone, internet charges just to name a few.
So, if you want to do better in 2014, you might want to change somethings and keep some.
